Recovery period

After the operation, the patient is in the hospital for two days. On the second day, drainage is removed, the first dressing is performed and a special compression bandage is put on the head.
Sleep is necessary on his back with head elevated.
In the first days after the operation, edema of the face and eyelids is observed, bruising can occur, the temperature can rise to 38. These are normal postoperative events. Therefore, especially in the first 4-5 days it is recommended to observe a sparing regimen, do not sharply turn your head, exclude physical exertion, apply cold compresses on your face and eyelids. It is necessary to take prescribed antibiotics and medications to reduce swelling.
