Hyaluronic acid
Jul 3, 2018
Using hyaluronic acid vaginal suppositories may significantly improve your results after the Mona Lisa.
I have a skin tag on my labia majora. How can it be removed?
Vulvar skin tags
Sep 1, 2017
Vulvar skin tags are easily removed in the office using local anesthesia and excising the tag with either scissors or using a CO2 laser. Recovery depends on the size and location of the lesion but most patients have very little, if any, down time.
Where is PRP injected in vaginal area during O-shot?
O-shot injection
Aug 31, 2017
Thanks for your interest in the O-Shot. Typically two areas are injected with prp in the O-shot. One area is near the urethra inside the vagina called the O-spot (or G-spot) and the other area is around the clitoris. Usually about 6-7 cc of prp is used so I typically inject 4 cc in the vaginal location and 2-3 cc in the clitoral location.
Combining MonaLisa and PRP: I’m 48. I’ve had a full hysterectomy.
Vestibulodynia, PRP and MonaLisa
Aug 24, 2017
Chronic pain at the vulvar vestibule is often caused by hormonal, infectious or autoimmune disorders. Identifying a cause of your vestibulodynia may help make the decision to pursue the MonaLisa Touch (MLT) treatment. While there are no studies yet to determine the success of treating vestibulodynia with the MLT or Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP), there is evidence that the skin changes associated with vaginal atrophy (vaginal dryness, pain) are significantly improved with the MLT…
How long do dissolvable stitches from labiaplasty take to dissolve?
Labiaplasty sutures
Aug 24, 2017
Feeling the sutures at one end of the labial incision is not uncommon. The length of time for the suture to dissolve depends on the type of suture material used and the rate at which your body is able to dissolve the suture. Most sutures dissolve within 6-8 weeks. If you notice signs of infection notify your surgeon.
Is there such thing as a combined wedge/trim technique for labiaplasty?
Trim technique
Aug 24, 2017
There are benefits to either technique and the decision to use or the other is typically made based upon the patient’s needs and the surgeon’s preferred method. I prefer using a CO2 laser to perform the trim procedure for most patients to minimize healing time. The trim method involves making a continuous linear incision from the top to the bottom of the labia. I feel that this maximizes symmetry between the labia for an optical cosmetic outcome. Once the…
Cost of MonaLisa Touch procedure? Can I get the O-shot at the same time?
Mona Lisa cost and O-Shot
Aug 11, 2017
The average cost in the Phoenix area is about $2200. The O-shot cost is approximately $1500 and is frequently performed at the same time the MonaLisa treatment is given. We offer a discount when both procedures are performed.
