Hair loss in my left temple. What should I do? Can it be reversed?
Hair Loss
Sep 25, 2021
Hello, thanks for the photos. I recommend you to see a dermatologist since you mentioned you have Seborrheic dermatitis and Psoriasis. These conditions might cause hair loss due to inflammation and usually, you can prevent further hair loss and reverse it with topical medications. If this doesn’t work out for you, you might have other underlying causes of hair loss. You could reverse it with medications like Minoxidil or Finasteride, which your doctor will prescribe you after the examinations…
I would like to ask if anyone has any advice on redness after 10 months?
Redness after hair transplant
Sep 24, 2021
Hello, I recommend you to see your hair transplant surgeon for an evaluation. After ten months of having a hair transplant, persistent redness isn’t something we usually expect, so it will be better to see your doctor for an examination..
Sleeping position after FUE hair transplant
Sleeping after a hair transplant
Sep 24, 2021
A week after getting an FUE Hair Transplant, it is usually okay to sleep in whatever position feels comfortable with you. In your case, it has been three weeks already, so feel free to sleep on your tummy or whatever position works for you.
Am I suitable for a hair transplant?
You need to know what is causing your hair loss
Sep 22, 2021
Hello, thank you for the photos. I recommend seeing a doctor and get blood tests done to see what’s causing your hair loss. That way, you can decide if you are suitable for a hair transplant or if taking prescribed medication is a better option. You might be a hair transplant candidate in the future, but right now I don’t advise getting a hair transplant. Proceed with the non-surgical treatments and medications and after your hair loss is stabilized, you might consider getting a hair…
FUE hair transplant pain; is this normal?
Pain After FUE Hair Transplant
Sep 21, 2021
Hello, it might be a normal pain that most patients have after a hair transplant for the first week after getting their hair transplant treatment, but it might also be a sign of infection.Take your painkillers as prescribed by your doctor. If the pain doesn’t fade away, it’s better to see your doctor in person for an examination, as said it might be an infection.
Can I color non transplanted hair (sides) after hair transplant ?
Can you color non-transplanted hair parts after a hair transplant?
Sep 21, 2021
Hello, thanks for your question. After getting a hair transplant, it is better to wait until the scabs are completely healed. I recommend waiting 3 months before dying your hair. After a few weeks (2-3) you could dye your hair where there is your native hair, still, avoid using harsh chemicals on your hair and use a hair dye that isn’t ammonia-based, but a hair dye that is natural.
I have been told I am not a good candidate for Hair Transplant. If PRP treatment is not working what
Not Suitable for Hair Transplant. What are the options?
Sep 20, 2021
Hello, if you have thinning hair and diffuse alopecia, your doctor probably told you aren’t a suitable candidate for a hair transplant because a hair transplant treatment might damage your existing hair follicles, even if it’s not an invasive surgery, fragile hair follicles can get damaged in these cases.PRP Therapy is a good option to boost hair quality and hair growth, yet it’s not% 100 effective in all cases. You should get a good idea of your hair loss pattern, then try other options…
