Look at the pictures of patients before and after botox facelift. Botox facelift is FDA approved to treat frown lines and crow’s feet. However, Botox facelift is used as off label use to treat the following areas:
– Forehead Bunny lines (lines on the nose)
– Elevate the corners of the mouth
– Chin dimples
– Platysmal bands (neck lines)
– Sweating to arm pits, hands and feet
– Sweating to forehead and scalp
Botox facelift is used to treat the Galbella (between the brows), forehead and crow’s feet. However, expert injectors are capable of utilizing Botox to treat other areas of the face for a rejuvenated appearance.
The benefits of these other areas can include the following enhancements below. The key is to do your research and choose an expert injector who customizes Botox treatments for each patient to fit their individual needs.
Diminish the appearance of neck bands Eyebrow lift Tighten the jaw line Reduce nasal flaring Minimize fine lines on the sides of the nose known as “bunny lines” Raise the corners of the mouth Improve the appearance of the skin by reducing the “orange peel” look In general, botox treats the“dynamic lines” that are caused by the movement of facial muscles.
It does not treat the “static lines” that can be caused by sundamage and aging of the skin.
Botox Used for Specific Wrinkles
Botox facelift can be used to treat crow’s feet, furrows in the forehead, frown lines, and skin bands around the neck. However, Botox is used to treat dynamic wrinkles, which are caused by facial expressions over time.
Wrinkles that are caused by environmental damage cannot be treated with Botox. Here you will find photos before and after botox facelift
Botox can be advertised to be used on crowsfeet and frown lines because that is where the studies have been done!
Botox can be used off label as well! This is the imagination part! Because the molecules of Botox work to stop the communication between muscles and the nerves it can be used to create many great results.
Forehead lines, gummy smile, raising the nose tip, getting a less square face (muscles of mastication), chin, downward angles of the mouth, smoker lines, aging neck… While Botox can be used in these areas it doesn’t mean that everyone is equally trained to create good results.
Please be careful. You can get droopy eyes, droopy smile, joker smile and so many other complications.
Botox can usually be injected on forehead, crows feet and glabella. Some Doctors may inject above the lips, but that tends to make the distance between your nose and lips a little longer, and doesn’t like to great. We won’t inject botox in that area. Some Dr.’s even inject botox for migraines as well and excessive sweating which could be covered by some insurances.
