Deep Plane Facelift Question. Why Do Some Doctors Do a Deep Plane Face-Lift vs A SMAS?

Why one doctor does one procedure over another isn't easy to say but it may because deep plane facelift has better longevity or is potentially safer than a SMAS. However, I don't agree with either. A major benefit from SMAS lift is two fold: The SMAS controls the gravitational changes to the face, specifically facial fat like to jowls. Also, SMAS is directly connected to platysmal muscle in neck therefore by lifting the SMAS you improve appearance of neck.

Wait Until After Children for Breast Augmentation?

It is not necessary to postpone breast augmentation surgery until after you have children. Most women who elect to have their breast augmentation performed prior to pregnancy do not experience complications with breast feeding. However, I do not recommend becoming pregnant within the first year of your breast augmentation.
