Its normal to loose the transplanted hair 1-3 weeks after a procedure. The hair typically comes back 2-4 months after the procedure. The full result can be expected 9-12 months after the procedure.

I recommend patient quit smoking. However after a transplant, smoking reduces the oxygen in the blood and compromise your result. If possible, try to refrain for the first few weeks after a procedure.

I recommend you limit sun exposure or a sun burn for the first 3 months after a procedure. At this point, you do not have fun sensation in your scalp, therefore you may get a sun burn and not even know it. Simply wear a hat and the hunting trip is acceptable. Have fun, be safe.

What you are experiencing may simply be maturing hair line, which isn't male pattern hair loss. Young boys and women have a very rounded hairline, without recession in the corners. A mature pattern of loss will have recession in the corners. If you are still concerned, contact a hair loss professional.

At 10 days post operative, you may simply be experiencing shock loss in the donor. Give it a little time before you become concerned. If your are concerned at 3-4 months that the hair isn't coming back, you can speak with the physician and review the donor under a scalp analyzer for density. The hair that was moved to your beard obviously won't come back in the donor area, it should grow on in your beard. However, hopefully the physician was selective in harvesting and...

Be patient, I think you can anticipate a lot more growth at 6 months. At six months you'll appreciate your changes but the most growth happens between 6-9 months. Full results can be expected at 9-12 months/
