LightSheer Duet or Yag for Light Skinned South Asian With Dark Coarse Hair?
yag is better
Feb 17, 2012
Yag should be better bu more painful. you could also try alex laser eg. Candela's Gentle lase or a combi laser gentlemax. The most important thing. in my opinion, is that for permanent hair reduction you will need several session, no one can guarantee how many sessions one may require. Usually you can get improvement in six sessions about 4-5 weeks apart. The number of sessions could be much more dependinhg on the area to be treated.
Can Thermage safely be combined with fillers?
Thermage can be done after fillers
Jul 16, 2010
I have seen no problem in doing Thermage procedure after fillers are in place. Thermage has never been marketed as a substitute for surgical facelifts. We keep hearing about the concerns of Plastic Surgeons, many of whom feel that Thermage will affect their share of the market.

Never go for Thermage if your physician markets it as being as good as surgery. Having said that, for the right candidate with reasonable expectations, it does deliver what it promises…

Does Thermage help sagging inner thighs and overall cellulite?
The key word in the question is ‘help’ therefore answer is yes
Jun 7, 2010
Thermage will definitely help. The result depends on the degree of sagging. The right candidate will see improvenment. However, Thermage has never been a competitor of plastic surgery. Patients who don't want or can't have surgery will find Thermage as a great substitute.

There is no perfect procedure for cellulite. Thermage is amongst the very good procedures to improve cellulite.

Is Thermage best for post liposuction skin tightening?
Thermage is a good option but don’t expect miracles
Dec 15, 2009
Thermage is a good option. Many of my patients have been satisfied with the results. The new 16 cm body tip gives better results with short treatment time. However, the improvement may not be entirely to your satisfaction. Even Plastic surgery cannot offer you a perfect result.
How effective is Alexandrite Laser?
Alexandrite laser is generally suitable for your skin type
Nov 24, 2009
Alexandrite laser is generally suitable for you skin type. However, as with all laser, certain precautions are necessary. The intensity of laser energy delivered can be determined by doing proper spot tests. You will generally see appreciable result after 3-4 sessions, but may require several sessions to achieve the desired result. Alexandrite laser is the least painful hair removal laser.
Is Thermage good for acne?
Thermage is NOT indicated to treat active acne
Nov 13, 2009
Thermage ic NOT indicated to treat active acne, period. It, however can improve acne in some case cases. If you have not seen improvement with the conventional treatment options and are afraid or unable to take Accutane, you might consider Isolaz.
Chemical Peel for dark neck skin?
In general, chemical peels will not help
Oct 29, 2009
Before you consider any treatment it is important to know if you are overweight/obese. You can have thicker skin which will appear as dark skin. In general, if your weight is not the problem, consider using mosturizer with lactic acid/urea on a daily basis for few months. The skin color will improve. If your work is in the outdoors, you should practice good suncare.
