Thank you for writing in with your excellent question. It is preferred to wait until you are healed which is about 6 to 8 weeks after surgery. Your surgeon should be the one to clear you for all routine activities once you are healed.

Thank you for writing in with your personal question and for sharing your photo. Many women do not like the aesthetics of their genitals, but labial and hood development are related to genetics and hormones which we have little control over. There is also a huge variation on how we look, so there really is no "normal: look. The most important thing is how do they work for you. If you have no comfort or functional concerns (no pulling with intercourse or pinching with...

Thank you for writing in with your excellent question. Yes it is possible to have an in-office procedure with just the labial edge reduced that bothers you. Be sure to find an experienced gynecologic surgeon or cosmetic gynecologist. Most routine gynecologists do not have labia reduction training so be sure to question anyone you go to about how many labia reductions they have done. Symmetry is important and that the tissue is hidden within the folds of labia majora. Ask...

Thank you for writing in with your excellent question. My recommendation would be by 8 to 10 weeks post-op you could begin your treatments as long as you are no longer tender and cleared by your doctor to go back to routine activities. The other option is having one or two treatments (or all 3) before surgery as the radiofrequency will stimulate blood flow and increase collagen and elastin production in the vagina which can help with the healing process afterwards.

Thank you for writing in with your excellent question and sharing your photos. There are several options available to you go help your labia majora. Surgery is one of them, and if just have the excess skin reduced ( and any defects closed in the underlying fat sac within the tissue), you should get a good result but you will have some plumpness due to the fixing of the sac underneath.
Radiofrequency (RF) is another option. It can stimulate collagen production in the skin...

Thank you for writing in with your excellent question. Cautery is generally used very carefully in labiaplasty to treat small bleeding edges or a blood vessel. It can also be used to excise tissue. Sutures are normally used to close the labial edges usually in one or two layers. They can be rapidly dissolving or regular thin sutures (which start dissolving by 2 weeks out).
If cautery is not used carefully, thermal damage to the surrounding tissues can affect wound...
