Thank you for this question.  Tough problem to fix!  I would recommend going smaller in the 500cc range and supporting the implant medially (over the sternum) and inferiorly (along the bottom fold) with mesh to keep the implants from moving.  Discuss the plan with your plastic surgeon.  You look fabulous!Not everyone is a good candidate for this treatment so please see a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon to evaluate if you may benefit. Excellent question.  The short answer is yes, there are different techniques used.  Bottom line is that we want to minimize the risk of an implant becoming visible.  For women with very minimal breast tissue we typically will place the implant partially under the pectoralis major muscle.  Not everyone is a good candidate for this treatment so please see a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon to evaluate if you may benefit. Is it the loss of projection of your nipple that bothers you? Its possible to have breast tissue re-grow but this would be very soon.  Could be fluid or post operative swelling as well. I would have your plastic surgeon evaluate you as soon as possible. I am sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with your current implant outcome! I am sorry to learn about your development of capsular contracture.
