The wrinkles on your neck are the horizontal kind that are from folding of the skin. A neck lift won’t necessarily get rid of them. I have filled these and have had great success with that. Its in the office for 20 minutes and done. It may require some maintenance filler injections several times a year. Hope this helps

Keep it simple is rule of thumb for aftercare. I like to have patients use Aquaphor ointment on the treatment site for several days. Keep it clean and showering is actually good for it so get it wet. No swimming pools or lakes for 2 weeks. Q switched laser treatments heal incredibly well with fairly simple care. Best, Dr D.

After looking at your picture, I feel a mini facelift would be my recommendation. You have some early jowling along the jawline and some light neck laxity. All these would be nicely addressed with a minilift. Your cheeks actually have fairly nice structure and I would look at them once you healed from the mini facelift and decide on possible volume replacement there as the icing on the cake. Having had cautery to nose as a child should not affect you having a rhinoplasty as an adult. Seek out a surgeon with extensive experience in rhinoplasty as it truly is a sub specialty of plastic surgery. They should examine the inside of your nose as well to make sure the lining wasn’t damaged prior to performing your surgery. Hope this was helpful.

Price is usually by the square inch and generally a package of treatments can save you money since you will need several sessions anyway. Make sure you seek out a physician with experience in this as there are some newer techniques that can help reduce the amount of treatments necessary. Good luck!!

Vitamin C supplementation prior to surgery is not a bad thing as it is essential to collagen formation and wound healing. On the other hand supplements such as Vitamin E, fish oil, and flax seed oil should be avoided for 10-14 days prior to surgery as it will cause excess bruising. Also avoid aspirin and anything else like it such as aleve, advil, ibuprofen, etc.

The filling of the inner upper eyelid along with the sub brow area should be peformed first. Once the volume is sufficient there, Neuromodulator can be added to maipulate the brow muscles for more raise to the area. I use Restylane for these purposes and any one of the Nerumodulators will work(Botox, Xeomin, Dysport). This can all be accomplished in one visit for the most part. Scarring after a tattoo is not unusual and usually will improve over time since your tattoo is only a month old. Black tattoos usually remove well with laser treatment compared to other colors such as blue and green. You can also lighten up certain areas and leave others. I commonly do this for patients with exrtensive bodyart who want something new. I would plan on 8-10 treatments spaced 6 weeks aprt for treatment. Hope this helps!

Treatment usually starts with some hydroquinone based lightening creams and sun protection. It can also be from a hollow there as concave areas may appear darker on african american skin. The skin of your face and nose will be extra sensitive to UV light exposure after Surgery. I always recommend avoiding direct sun for several weeks after surgery. That having been said, You have to live your life too so hats and sunblock are a must with outdoor activity. I would never recommend tanning voluntarily but if you have to wait at least 2 months.
