I just had filler removed. Would a lower blepharoplasty help?
Lower Eyelid Hallows
Oct 9, 2022
Thank you for the great question. Unfortunately, lower eyelid filler is not for everyone. This is one of the toughest places on the face to inject well and depends greatly on the individual’s age and underlying eyelid/cheek anatomy. Based on your photo, I think you would be a great candidate for a lower blepharoplasty. Each surgeon has a personal preference that works best for them and fat repositioning or fat removal with or without fat grafting are both great options. Because you have nice…
How long does a surgical brow lift last?
Longevity of a Surgical Browlift
Oct 9, 2022
Thank you for the great question. Overall a surgical browlift result will last roughly 10 years, however, this does depend on the surgical approach, the age of the individual, as well as their underlying facial anatomy. Individuals with thicker/heavier skin and soft tissue can be more susceptible to the effects of gravity leading to a slightly shorter overall result. I hope you found this helpful.
Best of luck!

Expectations after Facial Rejuvenation Surgery
Oct 9, 2022
Thank you for these great questions. First of all, you are not alone. Facial rejuvenation surgery is a big commitment, however, done well, it can have a huge impact on your confidence and self-esteem. The first thing I would suggest in selecting a surgeon is finding someone with extensive experience in modern-day facelift surgery (i.e. extended deep plane facelift) as well as a strong understanding of our complex facial anatomy. Facelift techniques have changed over the year and the extended…
How are muscles repositioned in a facelift, are they cut & reattached or repositioned with stitches?
Repositioning during a Facelift
Oct 9, 2022
Thank you for this question. Actually, during a deep plane facelift, the skin and superficial fat pads in the cheek and jawline are repositioned back to their original more youthful location. In fact, the facial muscles are left untouched. During surgery, there is a natural, mobile glide plane that separates these fat pads from our underlying facial muscles. After everything has been fully released, these descended fat pads are secured with multiple sutures to create a more refreshed cheek…
