The # of grafts that is recommended is based on how many you have to donate + how many you need. If the doctor recommends 1500 grafts, for example, it is because that is how much you NEED and you don’t NEED more than that (there would be nowhere to put them) OR because you don’t have more than 1500 grafts to transplant.
