I am looking for advice on what I could best hope to achieve with filler/liquid nose job?
Liquid rhinoplasty limitations

Dec 15, 2020
Hello and thank you for your question! I do think you’d be a good candidate for liquid rhinoplasty especially to camoflauge the dorsal hump and lift your tip. Filler can be used to attempt to correct the deviation in your nose however this is at risk of widening your nose. Filler would need to be placed on the left side on your nose to even things out. This would ultimately make the middle vault of your nose wider than before. This is something you would need to understand before undergoing…
I had Restylane injected under my eyes and now have bags. Can I go to another dermatologist to dissolve
Dissolving another providers filler

Dec 15, 2020
Hi thanks for your question! It is not uncommon for patients to go to a different provider due to problems or complications from filler. You circumstance is also different given COVID which I understand. It is important to note that the original provider should dissolve the filler at no additional cost whereas going to someone new will likely see a charge for dissolving someone else’s treatment. Good luck and I hope this helps!
Would I be a candidate for liquid rhinoplasty?
Liquid Rhinoplasty for Bump
Dec 15, 2020
Dec 15, 2020
Hi thanks so much for your question! Liquid rhinoplasty is a great procedure to camoflauge common issues on the nose such as yours. Filling the area immediately above the bump can quickly take away its appearance without the recovery of rhinoplasty surgery recovery. Most commonly people people use hyaluronic acid fillers which are temporary. Depending on the product they can last around 1-2 years. Importantly, you have to remember that not everyone is a candidate for liquid rhinoplasty…you…
Where is the Botox injection site for frown lines and how can I lift eyebrows?
Botox Injection Sites

To get rid of the 11 lines between your eyebrows we are targetting the corrugator and procerus muscles. Both of those muscles pull the eyebrows done. Weakening those muscles will not drop your eyebrows if anything it would help elevate them. The only muscle that lifts the eyebrow is the frontalis (forehead) muscle. Eliminating those wrinkles requires balancing the ability to raise the eyebrows and getting rid of those lines.

What is the difference between using a cannula for fillers vs. using a regular needle?
Cannula vs. needle
Aug 18, 2020
Aug 18, 2020
This is somewhat like the Mac vs. PC debate. Because cannulas do not have a sharp tip, the thought is that they have a lesser chance of poking into a blood vessel and causing an issue. This has not been supported by the evidence and cannulas can certainly cause vascular injuries like needles. One benefit to a cannula is a single entry poke, whereas needles require multiple needle sticks for the injections. Some people only use needles or only use cannulas but great injectors say they are…
Is 28 too young for temple filler? Is this very safe, or are there alternatives?
Temple Filler

Aug 18, 2020
Hi thanks so much for your question! I agree with you that you do have some temporal hollowing that could be improved with filler. We tend to always think of using filler to fix problems of “getting old” but that’s not always true. Same like the tear trough, sometimes we’re just balancing things that stand out and have nothing to do with age. You have fantastic cheek bones and good facial contour. I think doing some temple filler would help balance things. Thus, 28 is not too young….
Do you recommend filler, Botox and anything else in order to help improve my face?
Early 30’s Botox & Filler
Aug 11, 2020
Aug 11, 2020
Hey Lexi_92! Great question and thanks for the photos. I think starting in your 30’s with Botox is always a great idea, we don’t have photos of your forehead, glabella, and crows feet wrinkles but I am guessing this will help smooth and improve the appearance of those areas. In terms of filler, I do think bringing some of the volume back up to your cheeks/midface and some tear trough filler would do really enhance the natural beauty and shape that you have. Likely a syringe total maybe…
