Yes, both of these can be performed at the same time if desired. However, I would make sure you understand the implications of each procedure. The lip implant will obviously add fullness and volume to the body of the lips. The lip lift with decrease the distance from your lips to your nose and roll the lip out – a byproduct is creating more dental show. Make sure to go over each procedure with your surgeon and look at plenty of before and after pics. Good luck!

I personally use Surgisil’s lip implants and think they are a fantastic options for patients desiring a permanent solution for fuller lips. It does not provide the surgeon the same degree of artistry as injecting with fillers however is a very nice options for generally fuller lips that last as long as you want them to last. Good luck!

Seromas after facelift are a rare occurrence but can happen. If they occur they typically need drained and may require serial draining over the course of days to weeks. They should not inhibit your final result if managed appropriately.

This is a great question and one that can only be answered after a thorough exam in person. The use of a spacer graft depends on the structures involved in your scarring after blepharoplasty. Some lower lid margins can be improved by performing a lateral canthoplasty alone. As others have stated, numbness and swelling are common at this point in your recovery. The numbness may last multiple months but swelling should subside over the next few weeks. Make sure to follow up with your surgeon as instructed and voice your concerns.

It is difficult to adequately evaluate your pictures with the surgical tape still on. Furthermore, you said it 🙂 its way to early to make any determinations regarding your final result. Even if something needed revised I would consider doing it until 9-12mo after your primary surgery as tips and nasal dorsums can be swollen for a long time. Communicate your concerns with your doctor and follow up as scheduled. Thanks for your question. Dissolving your lip filler should bring your lips back to their baseline, meaning they will look like they did pre-treatment. In terms of looking “worse” I would ask your injector to define that. You should not have lips that look “worse” than how they looked prior to your injection. If you were happy with the pre-injected look than you should be happy after dissolving the filler. Good luck!

You are still healing from your procedure and will make improvements moving forward. At this time conservative measures such as the ones your surgeon has recommended are the only measures that should be taken. AT 3-4 months if the result is still sub-satisfactory a lower lid tightening procedure can be discussed with your surgeon. There is a very strong change that it resolve on its own.

Thanks for your question. As others have mentioned, swelling can be a very normal part of the immediate healing process usually peaking at 2-3 days. You should see it start to taper off at this point. You are very early on in your recover. It is not uncommon to stretch the nerves that control the muscles of the forehead which temporarily causes a lag in function. This can easily last multiple weeks to months. Make sure to follow up with your surgeon and follow their instruction.  Good luck
