Insecure about nose widening when I smile but denied a rhinoplasty. Am I a candidate?

Hello, From your photos I can see that you don’t have major problems with your nose, it is beautiful. But still if you want to get a nose job, reducing the hump, narrowing alar base and sligthly up-tilting the nose would give best results, maybe with closed approach.If you like your nose don’t change it of course, but a small touch would make it look better

It is difficult to evaluate without seeing all the face, because the proportions of the face is one of the most important things for aesthetic perception. But seems like the problem is the shortness of your nose, which can be solved with a rhinoplasty with extension grafts. This will result in a longer and less up-tilted nose and naso-labial space will look shorter

Hello, the answer is yes, but you should think about your expectations thoroughly and discuss them with your surgeon. In cases with thick-bulbous skin it might not be possible to achieve a very small and lifted nose, but as it is seen in the pictures you also have a droopy tip and wide lower lateral cartilages and wide alar base with a small hump.
