MLT with non mesh sling
Jul 30, 2018
No problem at all for the MLT in patients who have had a hysterectomy or a sling.
The only contraindication we give is for someone who has had a mesh. The CO2 laser does not treat the cuff( top) of the vagina, so no prob for the suture sites from the hysterectomy.
Laser vaginal tightening with uterine prolapse and a pessary?
Laser vaginal tightening w prolapse and pessary

There are some really good responses here. The real problem needs to be addressed and the MLT or RF treatments are not the best answer for you. You should seek out a well qualified GYN or Gyn urologist to go over all options. Pessary is a very good solution, but sometimes surgery may be needed.
Could the atrophic vaginitis be back? 6 wks post treat after 3rd ML started having itching & burning
atrophy returning after 3rd MLT
Jul 30, 2018
I would need a lot more information to give a full response. I would have to know the extent of your atrophy when you started as well as the responses you had to the prior MLT treatments. Everyone is a little different as to how long the benefits last. I have treated over a thousand women with the MLT touch for the past 4 years and find the longevity does depend on how soon treatments were started from onset of menopause. Sometimes a 4th treatment is needed to solidify the benefits….
Had 3rd Mona Lisa Treatment June 14 2018. Not feeling a lot of relief
not feeling a lot of releif after 3rd Mona lisa

These are always hard questions to answer, having not examined or really knowing your whole history. One of the other docs answered best, by telling you to see someone who is comfortable with all aspects of menopausal vaginal health. You did get some relief which is very good. I do combine therapies when need. You may benefit from additional treatment with estrogen creams,or vaginal DHEA.
I am also now combing RF ( radio frequency) therapies in women who have had some…
I finished my 3 Mona Lisa procedure 5 weeks again. Is it normal to still feel burning, itching and i
finished my 3 mona lisa….
Jul 12, 2018
Really need to have some more specifics to give a full answer. While you may still have some discomfort, you should not be getting a recurrence of your symptoms so soon. A lot can be done depending on the situation. Ask your doc who did the MLT to look at the tissue. You may benefit from some localized topical treatment…. resuts do vary, and can be dependant on how long since menopause as well as other issues. Good luck
Would I be a good candidate for Labiaplasty?
Labioplasty candidate
Nov 22, 2015
You are normal. Unless you are having problems with your labia being caught and tugged during sex, I would try and talk you out of surgery. There are many qualified GYN’s or plastic surgeons who can do a good labioplasty, thats not the problem. You have to find someone who’s more interested in whats really good for you as opposed to who is a good surgeon. Leave your normal labia alone.Good luck
Is it okay to have sex being that I still have stitches?
stitches and sex
Oct 31, 2015
Not the best idea. If the stitches are still visible or palpable they may scratch both you and your partner.Best to wait until everything completely healed. Ask your surgeon, he or she will guide you.Best of luck
