Is revision/correction required for my bilateral ptosis surgery?
Ptosis Revision
Oct 22, 2018
Thank you for your inquiry! The eyelid swelling can improve over the first few months following ptosis surgery. Along with that, the height and contour of the upper eyelid may change as the swelling resolves. I would recommend continuing to follow-up with your eyelid surgeon throughout the healing process and he/she can intervene if needed when the timing is right.
Good luck!
What do I have to do to make my eyes look the same size and fix my small pupils?
Different Sized Eyes/Pupils
Sep 26, 2018
Thanks for your question. We all have asymmetries between our eyelids and the sides of our face. In your photo, it looks like your right eyelid may be slightly lower than the left eyelid, which gives the illusion that the right eye may be smaller. The eyelid position can vary based on the direction that the photo is taken, so I would recommend having an in person consultation with an oculoplastic surgeon to perform a thorough examination.
The pupil size…
Droopy eyelids 8 months after bilateral lower bleph. What can be done?
Lower Eyelid Drooping after Blepharoplasty
Sep 26, 2018
Thank you for your question and your photos. I can see that there is rounding of your lower eyelids, which can happen following lower eyelid surgery. There are many different techniques in performing lower eyelid blepharoplasty, and in doing so, some of them may lead to scarring that causes the lower eyelids to pull down following the healing phase. I would recommend seeing an oculoplastic surgeon to assess the lower eyelid position. In the meantime, the eyes can dry…
Given that I am still experiencing a double vision, would I need a surgery? Or, am I able to correct
Orbital Fracture and Double Vision
Sep 9, 2018
Thanks for your question. There are many reasons that you might be having double vision following an orbital floor fracture. I would recommend getting an in-person consultation with an oculoplastic surgeon to have a thorough examination to determine the cause of your double vision and whether there is any treatment. Unfortunately, ‘therapy’ or ‘exercises’ are not typically effective in helping with your double vision.
Good luck!

POD#5 after Endoscopic Brow Lift
Sep 7, 2018
Within the first few weeks following a brow lift, the eyebrows are often higher than their final resting place, and this is done intentionally knowing that they will come down as you heal. As difficult as it is, I would recommend being patient with your healing process to allow all of your swelling to subside and allow your eyebrows to come to their final resting position.
Best of luck with your healing process!
Forehead dent. Can anything be done about this?
Forehead ‘dent’
Sep 7, 2018
It is difficult to determine from the phone what has caused your forehead dent and whether it is an old acne scar, other traumatic scarring, or the action of your forehead muscles. There are multiple treatment options based on the etiology of this ‘dent’, including botox treatment to relax the forehead muscles, subcision of a scar, or potentially a filler treatment, if deemed appropriate. I recommend having an in-person consultation to thoroughly assess your situation and what…
Can I have a brow/forehead lift at 22?
Low Eyebrow and Headaches
Sep 7, 2018
It might be worth considering non-surgical options to see if they will help with the appearance of your eyebrows. Botox can be a great option to help treat migraines, and if done in a correct pattern, can help to elevate the eyebrow slightly. I would recommend getting a consultation to discuss possible treatment options.
Good luck!
