Uneven eyelid surgery. What can I do about this?
Eye asymmetry
Nov 29, 2023
Your right eye does appear to be more prominent than your left. I would recommend that you seen an ophthalmologist for an examination to check out your eye health, retina, vision, and ensure that no intraorbital mass is responsible for this.
Are my cheekbones recessed?
Cheeks
Nov 27, 2023
You do appear to have volume loss of the anterior maxilla creating a negative vector with respect to your cornea. Cheek implants would be beneficial in this situation. This should also help to decrease the deepening nasolabial folds by suspending this tissue.
Is it operator error for my cheek implant to be floating in my face?
Implant migration
Nov 27, 2023
Implants are placed by creating a pocket and sliding the implant into that pocket over the desired area of augmentation.
Some surgeons place the implant into a snug pocket to avoid migration. If the pocket is too large, the implant can slide out of place. If it’s too small, there can be too much pressure on the area, and the implant can extrude through the incision site.
To avoid this, many surgeons fixate the implant with 2-point fixation to avoid migration and rotation.
Would I benefit from a facelift for the lax skin under my chin?
Neck Laxity
Nov 22, 2023
A lot of issues we face in facial plastic surgery can be treated in a stepwise fashion. What I mean is that you can start with minimally invasive options, and if they are unsuccessful, surgery can be your last option. In some situations, surgery is the only option, but in your case, you may wish to explore a couple of other options.
In increasing invasiveness:
radiofrequency microneedling
subcutaneous laser tightening of the skin
MyEllevate
Subcutaneous laser + MyEllevate
Neck lift
Sagging skin under my chin – What are my options?
Platysmal Bands
Nov 21, 2023
I think you’d be a great candidate to consider laser tightening of the skin along with MyEllevate – a minimally invasive permanent suture device to tighten this region. Check that out online and consult with a local provider.
What is the best option to fix sagging skin after neck liposuction?
Sagging Neck Skin
Nov 20, 2023
As we get older, we lose elasticity in our skin. Having liposuction alone, without any energy-based devices used, in patients (generally over 40, as a rule of thumb) tends to leave skin laxity.

Depending on the amount of laxity, you may have a couple options.
Less invasive options such as RF-microneedling may suffice.
Next level up treatment may include energy such as lasers or plasma to tighten the skin.
If there is too much laxity, then a formal neck lift may be required.

My deep plane neck lift has failed. Can the submandibular gland be removed to get a better result? (P
Gland removal
Nov 20, 2023
Based on what you’ve said, I assume you are seeking more jaw definition and a sharper transition between your jaw and neck. You noted that a portion of the gland was removed. The glands are beneficial for our baseline oral saliva production. While it’s not harmful if they aren’t present, they are beneficial.

The glands may not be solely responsible for what you are seeing. Sometimes, there is also contribution from the digastric musculature.

You could have Botox, or similar, injected…
