Will Botox help these static wrinkles or will I need filler too?

Once the lines have etched in the dermis; Botox will not get rid of them. They will soften over time with consistent use of botox. Medical grade skin care, chemical peels, laser treatments will help with the lines that are etched in. Filler in this area is not recommended. Most of out patients do both Botox and ressurfacing to get the skin smooth and healthy. Then we maintain with botox 3-4 times per year.

It appears to me that you started off slightly uneven. Now that you have thinned the muscle you are noticing it more. You could follow up with your injector or wait 3-4 months for the Botox/Xeomin to wear off. Best of luck.

The reason that there is a risk of blindness is that the filler can occlude a vessel; saline can not do this. Therefore, there is no risk of blindness. Always see an experienced injector with the appropriate reversal agents in office when getting filler.

Thank you for your question and photo. There is a lot of talk on symmetry in our line of work. No one will ever be perfectly symmetrical. In my practice, subtle assymmetry isn't worth chasing with filler. You end up bouncing back and forth. I'd allow them to settle out for a while. You could always dissolve and start over in a month or so as well. Best of luck.

It is unlikely that the Botox will affect your nose. The feeling of heaviness in the brow will usually ease up in about a month. I suggest trying less units during your next treatment to see if you can avoid that heavy feeling. Be sure you are seeing an experienced injector. Best of luck.

Thank you for your question and photos. Often removing the fat will leave you with skin laxity. I rarely see a good chin lipo that doesn't require some degree of tissue tightening. The older we get the harder it is to shrink wrap after fat removal. Best of luck to you.
