Most patients with a hairline like yours would choose a hairline lowering followed by a hair transplant to round the hairline 3 months later. A hairline lowering can not round the hairline in someone with temporal recessions like you have.

Patients with a hairline like yours, often seek hairline lowering procedures in my practice. One important aspect of determining if you are a candidate is to perform facial third measurements. I cannot really comment on that for you since you did not post a picture of your entire face. Brow lift opinions will also have to be withheld since I can’t see your entire eye complex to know if that would be a good idea for you.

Interestingly, this question does not get asked often, but is certainly relevant. Based on your drawing, I don’t think you mean the sides, but I think you are asking about lowering the lateral aspects of the hairline vs. the center of the hairline. The answer is that we usually don’t do this, but certainly can do this in a similar fashion to what you have drawn in.

You asked about your forehead wrinkles but didn’t post a picture of your forehead. Patients with facial aging including sagging and volume loss often opt for a facelift plus fat injections. Most patients with this type of aging also have issues around their eyes requiring blepharoplasty. All of this can be performed in one procedure. Rhinoplasty can be performed at the same time as well as lip augmentation.

I don’t really know enough about you to answer you specifically, and the pics are certainly not adequate enough to explain your situation. For patients who need more facial volume, repeat fat transfer or fillers are options, and those with loose skin and muscle may opt for a facelift. Although I used endotines for the beginning of my career with this procedure, I have found bone tunnels to be the better option for the past decade or so. Not all surgeons are skilled or comfortable making bone tunnels which may be the deciding factor for most.
