Dr. Echavez is one of a select group of physicians who has been certified by not one but two medical boards: the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. This dual board certification, coupled with over 28 years of experience, means that Dr. Echavez has a comprehensive mastery of anatomy from the neck up, making him a highly sought-after provider of both aesthetic and reconstructive care to patients in the Bay Area.

Passionate about advancing cosmetic surgery techniques in the medical community, Dr. Echavez is on the clinical faculty at University of California, San Francisco, where he teaches future generations of physicians. In my opinion, Sculptra is a great product when used correctly. I have been using it for over 22 years and have had very few problems with the results. Treatment with Sculptra normally involves more than one treatment session and results are gradual.

There are a variety of fillers that could be used to add volume to the face. The results could be subtle or more dramatic, depending on how much is used. I think Sculptra is a good option, with the main advantage being that the results last relatively long. I think you could also get a good result with Voluma. The placement and amount used would be able to give you a subtle result without making your face triangular.
Can I get Chin Filler with Chin Implant?

Yes, it is possible to place a filler in the chin after placement of a chin implant. The filler is normally placed more superficially than where the implant would be. You should be sure to let the physician treating you know that you have a chin implant prior to a filler treatment.

The simplest option to improve over-filling after Sculptra treatment is giving it more time. It will gradually go down by itself with more time. I do not think that phototherapy would be helpful to lessen the volume.

CoolSculpting can be used to treat banana rolls, but the treatment will only help to reduce fat in the area. The procedure would not affect silicone in the treatment area. An examination of you would be needed to determine if you might be a good candidate for CoolSculpting or not.

I'm not sure if the photo you provided is before or after the filler that you had. Based on the photo, it does appear to me that there is some volume loss in the cheeks. Normally, adding volume in the cheeks would improve the nasolabial folds. The only other treatment I can think of that you haven't tried that potentially could help would be direct excision of the nasolabial folds. It's difficult to tell if you might be a good candidate for this procedure, just based on the photo.

As you have seen, purpura can occur after a Vbeam laser treatment. The laser treatment can be effective, with or without purpura developing. It is very common that multiple treatment sessions are needed to obtain the best improvement.

Each physician may have different instructions for patients who have been treated with CoolSculpting to the torso or any body area. I do not restrict exercise in my patients after CoolSculpting. In my opinion, compression clothing would not hurt anything, but I don't think it makes any difference in the final result. Drinking water is helpful for all around health and can help to avoid dehydration.

In my opinion, micro needling still is an effective treatment. I use it with radio frequency and think that is more effective than without it. I think the procedure mainly helps with issues on the surface of the skin, like wrinkles and textural irregularities. Sagging skin is sometimes better dealt with using surgery. Photos or an examination of you would be helpful to give you the best advice.

It may be possible to improve the issue in your lips after your Sculptra injection, and I would consider trying an injection of Kenalog to see if it helps.
