We would need to see a picture with your full face in order to tell you better about the procedures that you should have, but in case you would be a candidate for alarplasty, you should know that by reducing the alar base the tip is not going to change, moreover it might look a little more bulbous than before alarplasty. In case you want to make the tip slimmer, then we would recommend you to have cartilage binding together with alarplasty.

Hello!That would depend on what procedure exactly you will have (rhinoplasty can include different approaches). If you only have a septoplasty, no, you won’t need to support the tip, but in you have also a tip plasty, then in order to make it higher you would need cartilage grafting.
