An accomplished surgeon with impressive medical credentials, he excels in all areas of cosmetic plastic surgery, including complex procedures like cosmetic breast surgery, body contouring, and cosmetic surgery post-weight loss. “As cliché as this may sound, I approach all my patients as if they were close friends or family,” says Dr. Prada. “That way you are always true to your word, honest, and maintain the utmost integrity.”
He received his medical degree from the State University of New York Health Sciences Center and completed a residency in General Surgery at Loma Linda University Medical Center in California. He was then chosen for a fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Saint Louis University Health Sciences Center in St. Louis, Missouri, followed by additional training in breast and cosmetic surgery under the tutelage of Drs. Spear and Little at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC.
Dr. Prada has served as an assistant professor at Saint Louis University Hospital Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and is currently involved in resident education at Saint Louis University in a clinical faculty position. “The best thing about performing plastic surgery is the ability for others to subjectively and objectively critique the outcome,” he says. “Only one surgical field has this attribute”
Dr. Prada is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. A past president of the St. Louis Society of Plastic Surgeons, Dr. Prada has won numerous awards, including RealSelf 500 in 2017 and Strathmore’s Who’s Who. He is published in multiple respected medical publications.
“I tell patients that within the first five minutes of a consultation they will know whether I am the doctor for them,” says Dr. Prada. “I feel my work speaks for itself. Once you visit with me, see my outcomes, and read my patients’ testimonials, you will see that I am more than qualified to be your surgeon.”

At his St. Louis, Missouri practice, St. Louis Cosmetic Surgery, Dr. Lund offers a full array of surgical and nonsurgical procedures to treat the face, breast, and body, but a top focus is breast enhancement surgery. One of his surgical specialties is rapid recovery techniques for breast augmentation. A RealSelf and Castle Connolly Top Doctor, Dr. Lung has also served as a principal investigator in studies using the next generation of cohesive gel breast implants.
Dr. Lund grew up in a family of surgeons, but his background is a mixture of science and art—he majored in drama, sociology, and biology as an undergraduate. “I loved medicine, but I was looking for something in medicine that combined those two things,” says Dr. Lund. “Cosmetic surgery really is the ultimate combination of science and medicine. I loved it, and that’s why I’m doing what I do.”
Dr. Lund takes pride in being a perfectionist who uses the latest and safest techniques, all while being conservative in his work. “I give my best effort in every case to get the best possible result,” says Dr. Lund. “I highly value my patients’ resources and I research new technologies to ensure that they’re effective, safe, and provide value.”
Dr. Lund received his medical degree from the Washington University School of Medicine. He completed an internship in general surgery at the University of Texas, Houston. He completed two residencies: one in general surgery at the University of Texas, Houston, and another in plastic surgery at the Washington University School of Medicine, where he also completed a fellowship in plastic surgery.

Do I need a free nipple graft to get me down to a small size?
Do I need a free nipple graft to get me down to a small size?
Dec 2, 2019
I would agree with your PS if you want to be that small. Any pedicle approach would lead to a high risk of nipple areolar loss. I can get a similar result with a FNR and a pedicle approach so do not worry. Be aware that you will lose nipple sensitivity, nipple projection, possibly some pigment and ability to breast feed.

Breast reduction 9 months ago. Still too big! Same size as before. What are my options?
Dec 2, 2019
If you are still an F cup after a reduction surgery, then it does not appear you had a reduction. Most reductions should remove about 40-60% of the breast tissue if a pedicle reduction is performed. You may benefit from a Free Nipple Reduction if you want a cup size in the C or less. You may want to seek a second opinion to see your options. Im sorry to hear you did not get what you expected. Good Luck.
Should I be concerned with my incision opening?
Should I be concerned with my incision opening?
Nov 25, 2019
This is not uncommon to find after breast lift and augmentation surgeries. I would see your PS to make sure you do not have a suture that needs to be removed. This will otherwise prevent your incisions from healing. Oral antibiotics are also helpful to aid in healing. Over time these usually scar fairly well, but if they do not, a scar revision would help.

Do you think that a mini tummy tuck with a breast augmentation will be able to improve my body after pregnancy?
Feb 3, 2019
Without an examination this is a tough question to answer. You would get a benefit from a mini but you would not notice much of a difference around your umbilicus. You also would not have an improvement to your abdominal muscles if you have any laxity. If those areas do not bother you, than a mini would likely be all you would want. In terms of your breasts, again an exam would be helpful to determine if a lift would help. Worse case scenario, you have an augmentation with the possi...
How much weight can I expect to lose after a tummy tuck and lipo of my sides?
How much weight can I expect to lose after a tummy tuck and lipo of my sides?
Feb 3, 2019
Although your results would be fantastic after a tummy tuck and lipo, you will not find you will lose a lot of weight. Skin and fat do not have a lot of weight to them. They occupy space, volume, not weight. So you will look like you lost weight after, but not typically notice a lot on the scale!
