Name: Manuel A. Lopez, MD

Statement: Manuel A. Lopez, MD, FACS, founder of Advanced Aesthetics Lopez Plastic Surgery, is a highly experienced, board-certified facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon who is dedicated to bringing aesthetic improvements to women and men of all ages, races, and genders in the San Antonio and South Texas area. After earning his Bachelor of Science in Physiological Sciences at the University of California at Los Angeles, Dr. Lopez earned his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Louisville where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. He completed his residency at the University of Cincinnati Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.

He then followed his passion for plastic surgery by completing a fellowship in facial plastic surgery and reconstructive surgery at the University of Illinois in Chicago, under the guidance of world-renowned surgeons Dr. Dean Torumi, Dr. Reagan Thomas, and Dr. Eugene Tardy.

Dr. Lopez came to San Antonio in 2004 after he was offered the position of chief of facial plastics at Wilford Hall Medical Center. The next year, he was deployed to Iraq, where he served as head and neck surgeon at Balad Air Base.

At Advanced Aesthetics Lopez Plastic Surgery, Dr. Lopez creates beautiful improvements using the latest advances in surgical techniques. Amber has a background in hospital medical, however has always had a passion and interest in skin care, aesthetics, and health and wellness.
