He did his undergraduate training at the University of Utah, successfully completing a double major in Exercise Physiology and German Literature. Dr. Gay spent a couple years during and after college doing research in pancreatic cancer. Is it possible to have these piercing scars minimized with surgery?

Yes your scars can be improved. Piercing scars tend to be indented and much more noticeable than scars from cuts. A scar revision is basically trading a more noticeable scar for a less noticeable scar. Non-surgical treatments like scar cream, subcision, and microneedling don’t work as well for piercing scars. A small scar revision surgery can be done in-office under local anesthesia. Cost can vary widely based on the area you live. I recommend calling the office to get pricing. The type of…
I’m 46 yrs old. Am I a candidate for Lip Lift Surgery?
Yes

Thanks for your question. The short answer is yes. You would be a good candidate for a lip lip. The filler in your lips looks good and helps a lot, but a lip lift will give you longer lasting results. You may still want to use filler to increase your lip volume, but your lip shape and appearance will be improved by the lip lift. Your skin quality looks good. You will want to have enough removed to have a good appearance, but be careful about having too much removed. The increased tension by…

Thanks for your question. It can be confusing with so many treatment options and plans. Surgeons tend to get the best results with the procedures they perform the most often and with the technique they most commonly use. Your surgeon may get excellent results with the proposed technique. If you talk to 10 surgeons you may get 10 different approaches. There are many different techniques that all lead to excellent results. I don’t often do fat transfer to the eyelids. I don’t feel that…

There are many different techniques that all lead to excellent results. I don’t often do fat transfer to the eyelids. I don’t feel that the technique is precise enough for reliable results. That being said many surgeons do this technique with excellent results. I find filler is more reliable if needed after surgery. Fat transposition during your blepharoplasty should be able to fill most of your hollow areas.
What is the safest facial filler (in terms of toxins, etc.) including Sculptra?
Fillers

All the fillers currently in use in the United States have excellent safety profiles. The most common are fillers containing hyaluronic acid which is a naturally occurring substance in your skin. An option you may want to consider is fat transfer. This would be your own fat collected from someplace else in your body and injected into other areas. That is as natural as you can go.
