Dr. Angelos graduated first in his class from Wright State University School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio. After scoring in the 99th percentile on his national board exams, he was admitted to a prestigious, integrated six-year plastic surgery residency program at Ohio State University in Columbus. As a resident, he received extensive training in all forms of general, reconstructive, and cosmetic surgery.

A believer in giving back to his community, Dr. Angelos was inducted as a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society, which recognizes students, residents, and faculty who are exemplars of compassionate patient care and serve as role models, mentors, and leaders in medicine.

A RealSelf 500 honoree, Dr. Angelos has received over 15 scholarships and awards throughout his career, including The Association of Surgeons in Training (ASiT) Silver Scalpel Award and the Dean’s Award for exceptional surgical achievement and exemplary performance. He was also inducted into the renowned Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and elected President of his local chapter.

Dr. Treece received his medical degree at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He went on to complete a five-year residency program at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, where he was selected as Chief Surgical Resident. Dr. Treece later served as a trauma and general surgeon for the United States Air Force.

Today Dr. Treece is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

After earning his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine and Public Health in Columbus, he went on to complete a general surgery residency at Mount Carmel Medical Center in New York, New York before returning to The Ohio State University Medical Center for a plastic surgery residency.

Recently, Dr. Wakelin was part of a select group of plastic surgeons who completed advanced training in breast augmentation with Mentor Worldwide LLC. He currently serves on the clinical faculty of The Ohio State University College of Medicine and Public Health and was the chair of plastic surgery at Riverside Methodist Hospital from 2008 to 2014.

A leader in his field, Dr. Wakelin was voted by his fellow physicians as one of the top cosmetic surgeons in Columbus in the most recent “Docs Rate Docs” Survey. He has also been named one of America’s Top Plastic Surgeons by the Consumer’s Research Council of America every year since 2006.

Board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Wakelin is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS).

When he’s not practicing or teaching, Dr. Wakelin uses his expertise in plastic surgery to give back. He has worked with Operation Smile to perform reconstructive surgery on children and adults with cleft lips and palates in multiple developing countries, including Honduras, Paraguay, Nicaragua, Peru, Egypt, China, and Morocco.

Dr. Heck specializes in breast enhancement, tummy tucks, liposuction, and complete mommy makeovers. However, he has expertise in a broad range of procedures for the face and body, including labiaplasty, eyelid surgery, body lifts, facelifts, and neck lifts, as well as nonsurgical treatment options like CoolSculpting and Cootone; injectable wrinkle relaxers like Botox and Dysport; and dermal fillers such as Juvéderm and Restylane; and facial rejuvenation procedures like Ultherapy.

After graduating from the Medical College of Ohio with honors and earning membership in the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society, Dr. Heck remained there for his general surgery residency before completing a two-year plastic surgery residency at the Medical University of South Carolina. During his time in medical school, Dr. Heck was awarded the Marion C. Anderson and Toledo Surgery Society Awards for his academic achievement in surgery.

Dr. Heck went on to complete an aesthetic and breast fellowship at the University of Southern California, training under the highly respected surgeon, Dr. Grant Stevens, MD, FACS. During the fellowship, Dr. Heck refined his aesthetic surgical skills and learned innovative techniques for which he is known today, like the Laser Bra method.

Dr. Heck’s recognitions include America’s Top Plastic Surgeons, Best Doctors in America, Castle Connolly Top Doctor, and RealSelf Top 100. He has also been voted one of Columbus’ best plastic surgeons and received a Prism Award for his expertise in breast surgery.

Dr. Heck is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He serves as a board member of the Riverside Outpatient Surgery Center, which provides a safe and relaxed environment for outpatient procedures.
