Statement: Dr. Matthew Bridges MD, FACS is a fellowship-trained, double board-certified facial plastic surgeon specializing in cosmetic and reconstructive procedures of the face, head, and neck. He practices in the Richmond, Virginia area and is the founder of Commonwealth Facial Plastic Surgery.

After obtaining his medical degree from the University of Virginia, Dr. Bridges headed to Virginia Commonwealth University for his residency in otolaryngology, which is a surgical subspecialty focused on the head and neck. Following his residency, he completed a fellowship in plastic surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston.
