Normally for these kind of acne scars, it is advised to actually undergo a combination of treatments including microneedling, subcision, lasers, TCA cross, PRP and fillers. I usually like to combine these procedures according to the type of acne scars a person has.  I would advise you to consult a certified dermatologist to have an in person consultation to stop your existing acne issue and then work up with combination treatment.

Looking at the pictures, it is difficult to relate this scenario to just friction (crawling). I would suggest you to meet a dermatologist for a correct diagnosis. Cost of consulting a dermatologist would be still less than the unwanted creams and peels. Any chemical working on this much thick skin would be a deeper peel which should be only done under supervisionAll the best

There is no appropriate age to start finasteride. Patient have benefitted from age 18 – 60 yrs depending on kind of hair loss. Starting only finasteride is not the right treatment for androgenetic alopecia. It requires combination treatment to act on different pathways of hair loss. I would advise you to consult a certified dermatologist to evaluate your hair loss and then start treatment accordingly.All the best

Having only dark knees, elbows, knuckles etc need proper evaluation before going for any procedure. Does 0.5 mm Derma Roller work on this chicken pox scar?

I don’t recommend using 0.5 mm for scar treatment. chicken pox scars are more resistant to the usual treatment and they would require subcision along with PRP  & microneedling with more depth (say 1.5-2mm). also, in some resistant, cases excision may be required.I would advise you to consult a dermatologist to know your best optionsAll the best

Not all of the scar treatment require application of anaesthesia topically. For eg: TCA CROSS, deep peels, subcision, punch elevation, excision, prp, fillers. If necessary, treatment can also be done under injectable anaesthesia also. There are other topical numbing agent which can be used as substitute in place of what has already been used.consult your dermatologist regarding your options but surely, you are not ineligible for scar treatment.All the best
