Hello,

If you are having your labiaplasty under general anesthesia then you will want to have someone with you for the first 24 hours. If you are having it done with local anesthesia and you will not be put under at all, it is reasonable to be by yourself. You will just be laying and icing and relaxing while you heal.

Hello,

We have had several patient choose to only treat the internal vagina since that was their only concern. Some patients choose to do treatments one at a time and assess their results prior to making another appointment. This is personal preference. It can help with vaginal dryness. Patients who have not had children can have ThermiVa and not worry about becoming "too tight."

From your photos, you could benefit from a labiaplasty with clitoral hood reduction in order to address the excess skin. ThermiVa could be incorporated in addition to address the internal tightness you are looking for. ThermiVa only addresses the outer portion to a minor effect but it can help with the inner feelings. Be sure to look for a provider who is a board-certified plastic surgeon.

You are still very early in your stages of healing.  Scars take months to fully settle.  It is very normal to experience scar tissue at this point. Yes, massage can help soften them.  They will soften and fade more as time goes on.  There are also treatment options and products to help with the scars and you can discuss this with your surgeon.  All the best.

You are definitely not too old for a mommy makeover.  Age is not a problem as long as you are in good health.  You surgeon will run tests prior to surgery such as blood work, EKG, ect. to ensure it will be safe to operate.  This is usually done with patients of any age.  Make sure to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon who can determine the best plan for you.  Good luck!

The pricing can vary doctor to doctor.  At our office here in Tempe, AZ we charge $1,950 for the package.  That includes your three treatments and the touch up a year later.  If you chose to purchase single sessions those are $600.  Most doctors should give you pricing when you call the office.  Best of luck.

Many of my patients have gone back to work a few days after the procedure.  For the first few days take it really easy and ice the area to reduce swelling.  There will be some discomfort from the swelling.  Once you go back to work try to get up every so often.  You may have some extra swelling from sitting all day but once you are home ice and elevate.  Most patients do very well after this procedure and work isn't bothersome.Good luck!

You are very early in your healing and it is normal to have swelling, bruising, and different pains.  Even though your surgeon is out of the office you should be able to reach out to his staff and they should be able to guide you.  They would rather hear from you even if it ends up being nothing to make sure.  Don't be afraid to reach out.  They are there to help you at any time.Best of luck!

Yes, it is possible to place an implant at the same time of a breast reduction.  This can provide more fullness to the upper pole.  If you don't want implants, then a breast reduction with a lift can help provide you with "perkier" breasts without an implant.  It is reasonable to have a tummy tuck along with the breast surgery as long as you are in good health for a surgery that long.  I would consult with a board certified plastic surgeon and discuss the best options for you.  Good luck...

After surgery, I generally keep tape on the scar for the first 2 weeks. After that I recommend that some form of silicone cover the incision. I believe that the silicone tapes or sheets are better than the creams for this. My favorite product is called Embrace. It is a silicone but it also decreases the tension along the scar. Thank you for your question. You should not gain any significant weight after an augmentation. You can add the weight of the implants but that should not be more than 2-3 pounds at the most and often less than that. This will not cause you to add fat to your body. Good luck!
