For how long should I stop weight lifting after hair transplantation?
Post Surgery Weight Lifting
Mar 27, 2018
The first four weeks are key importance to healing to recovery. Heavy Lifting cant cause problems for sure within the first 3 weeks and so we advise 4 weeks to be safe of limited training, especially heavy weights.
1 month after beard transplant,i rubbed my beard with to much pressure, did it damage my growth or not?
Patchy Early Growth
Mar 27, 2018
This shouldn’t be a problem at this stage as the vast majority of the healing has taken place and the area should be well healed, you now need to be patient and give it some time to now grow through. It should be fine. Review with your surgeon in around 6 months post surgery if you have any concerns.
Bald spots on transplanted area after 2 months – is it normal?
Hair Transplant Growth
Mar 27, 2018
At the two month stage it is quite normal to see some irregular growth, its certainly not uncommon. I wouldn’t worry to much at this stage. Give it more time, around 6 months post surgery and it should all be growing more evenly.
4 months post op hair transplant. How long does it takes for hair growth?
Post Surgery Growth
Mar 21, 2018
Transplanted Follicles normally start to grow at around the 3-4 months post-surgery stage. You do need to be patient as this is only a guide and for some patients it can take much longer and a final result is seen 12-18 months post surgery. If you have any concerns you should get in touch with the doctor who performed your surgery and they can explain further.
Making a narrow and high hairline wider and lower. I’m a 18 year old guy.
Hair Transplant At 18
Mar 21, 2018
You should certainly not be considering to perform a hair transplant surgery at 18 years of age. Although your not happy with your hairline currently you need to wait until your around 25 years of age perhaps as there is a possibility that you may develop further male pattern balding and hair loss in the future and then your appearance might look unnatural as a result of doing the surgery too young. You may wish to look at some non surgical approaches to hair retention if you feel it is…
How Long Until I Can Work out After Hair Transplant Surgery?
Post Hair Transplant and going to the Gym
Mar 15, 2018
You can start to train again at the gym 4 weeks or 1 month post hair transplant surgery. You don’t want to overdo it in your first few sessions (subject to what your doing in the gym) but you should be able to resume your sessions at this stage after the Hair Transplant.
Can I drink and smoke after hair transplant?
Drinking and Smoking Post Hair Transplant
Mar 15, 2018
Simply put NO – not unless you want to risk the potential outcome of your Hair Transplant, as smoking can slow wound healing and increase your risk of infection. We advise all patients to stop smoking and drinking for at least 2 weeks prior to surgery and the same post surgery. It is essential to get the best possible outcome.
When you get to 14 days post surgery then its fine to have an alcoholic drink and potentially if you still feel the need, to have a cigarette.
