Although cheek implants are definitely an option, I prefer facial fillers. Fillers can be customized and used to to augment your cheeks and blend away your nasolabial folds as much as you would like. Cheek implants are a good option but can migrate and even spin so asymmetry is a common complaint. One of my favorite fillers for the cheeks is Voluma by Allergan.
