Can I use Emsculpt if I have a bladder sling?
EMSculpt with bladder sling
Apr 18, 2019
Absolutely.
Both EMSculpt and Emsella are safe with with a bladder sling in place.
I have used EMSculpt on many women with bladder slings.
There is no metal in a bladder sling.
We are getting great results with EMSculpt, by the way.
I have metal pins along side of my femur bone. Is it safe for me to have Emsculpt?
EMSculpt and metal hardware
Feb 27, 2019
You need to find out what the pins are made of.
Titanium is generally what is used and titanium is not ferromagnetic.
But other metals would be an issue.
Why do I still have bruises and lumps from SculpSure procedure over 4 months ago? Should I be concer
SculpSure and bruising
Feb 23, 2019
The lumps are collections of fat that should resolve over time- in fact in my experience they always do. It takes the body some time to break down the long chain fatty acids that are released from the ruptured fat cells.
I honestly cannot explain the bruising. All bruising should resolve with time, however.
The only idea I can come up with is that the massaging you are doing to get rid of the lumps may be causing some bruising if you are a person who bruises easily anyway.
Can I do Emsculpt if I want to get pregnant in a few months?
EMSculpt before pregnancy
Feb 18, 2019
Yes, you are completely safe to do a series of EMSculpt procedures before pregnancy. In fact, it will help you maintain your abdominal wall strength and I would predict that you will be less prone to the abdominal wall laxity that sometimes follows a pregnancy.
The ovaries will not be affected by the electromagnetic energy.
Full hysterectomy, followed by blood clots. Can't use estrogen which now makes sex tough due to dryn
Pain with intercourse after oophorectomy
Feb 3, 2019
I would recommend Mona Lisa Touch vaginal laser treatments as well as a good silicone based lubricant.
Mona Lisa Touch will increase the elasticity of the vaginal wall which is part of what you are lacking now that your ovaries are not providing the vaginal walls with estrogen.
Is Emsculpt safe with Skyla IUD?
EMSculpt with a Skyla IUD
Jan 30, 2019
The Skyla IUD is not metal, therefore EMSculpt should be safe. The Paragard IUD does contain copper and would not be safe.
Can you get Emsculpt on your glutes if you have a copper IUD?
EMSculpt with copper IUD
Jan 30, 2019
Technically no. High Intensity Focused Electromagnetic energy can heat up any metal in the body. You might want to consider having the Paragard IUD changed out for a Mirena if EMSculpt treatment is important to you.
The other advantages of Mirena IUD is that you will not bleed, or you will bleed very little.
