Thank you for asking such an important question. There is no contraindication for having ThermiVa Treatments either with a history of blood clots or while currently taking blood thinners. Most likely what is going on is that there is either a tiny bit of swelling of the tissues that will resolve within a very short period of time or this is a result of certain hormone changes that can happen with normal fluctuations. Wait a few days to see if this resolves. If it doesn’t, go back to see your ThermiVa provider (who I hope is a gynecologist) and be evaluated. Thank you and good luck.

If you are planning to do this soon, I would not get your series of three treatments done until you finish childbearing as you will probably need a series of three again after the delivery.
