Voluma is a hyaluronic acid filler, and one property of these fillers is that they do attract water. This helps in the plumping effect of the fillers, however it can lead to complications if fillers are not placed in the correct position. It is recommended you discuss with your treating provider on their preference for filler type.

Some degree of facial asymmetry is normal. Volume augmentation with the use of intra-dermal fillers may aid in correcting slight asymmetry. Several types of cysts can be found on the head and neck, with one of the most common being an epidermal inclusion cyst. Given the nature of the cyst being related to the skin, an external incision is most common. Cysts can enlarge, so one way to mitigate the size of the scar is to address the cyst early. Several different providers are capable of cyst removal. You can consider discussion with a primary care provider to review your options.

We do typically recommend waiting to dye your hair for a period of time following the procedure which is influenced by which surgery you had and where the incision lines are placed.
