From your photo, I really cannot decipher premature aging of your skin. It sounds like you are having temporary excessive dehydration of your skin. I think you have done well in analyzing your problems. You have obviously dehydrated this area with the retinoid which makes these lines appear more prominent. I would encourage you to decrease and/or change your retinoid to improve hydration. I would consider adding a good hydrator to the affected areas. A hyaluronic acid filler properly injected should markedly improve the depths of your lines.

There is no procedure that can give you flawless skin in one day. In an emergency situation, having a light chemical peel would give you a temporary glow for 48-72 hours. Good luck.

Your question has many different components. Overall, it sounds like what you need most is a good skin care program that you would follow regularly. Monthly peels would also be a good place for you to start. In considering a skin care program, the following should be included:
1. A good sunscreen
2. A retinoid product
3. Proper topical hydration products
4. Products containing glycoaminoglycans that will penetrate to your dermis

If you have been tolerating the higher dose retinoid for your wrinkle treatment, I see no problem with continuing to use it. It's obvious that your skin has become tolerant to the higher dose, o switching to a lower concentration would be unnecessary.
