3 months after, tranplanted hair still looks the same as day one

It just takes forever for grafts to grow it seems. Typically the grafts take about 3 months to start producing new hair. And on top of that, some of the native (non-transplanted hairs) in the recipient area shed due to the manipulation of the scalp and they too take 3-6 months to regrow as. It’s as simple as that! In my experience the grafts are secured in place by the normal healing process by day 3. I have tried several times to disrupt grafts from their bed by gently washing at 3 days and they do not move. If viable grafts are dislodged there is bleeding from the site. It’s as simple as that!
I have read that Artas works best on straight black hair. Is this an option for gray hair? Wavy or
