Can I get a mini lift at 26?

Hi I don’t think lift is the right answer for you. Volume loss is a major factor in your case rather than tissue descent. The way I see it restoring the volumes in your cheeks, cheek-bone and naso-labial folds with your own fat (fat grafting) possibly in conjunction with a fat reposition lower lid blepharoplasty would help a lot and avoid a more difficult and risky procedure such as a face lift

You do seem to have prominent globes. Many times this has a constitutional basis some others it occurs because of a thyroid related disease. There is a potential surgery aimed at reducing the prominence of your globes and consists in orbital decompression surgery. It is a delicate surgery so please consider consult your local Oculoplastic surgeon to see if you are a potential candidate

Dear frre_man,looks like you could be a good candidate for a filler under the bags to cover the bulging. As the transition from the lid to the cheek gets improved your skin will project more anteriorly improving the dark circles at the same time. I suggest you consult an Oculoplastic surgeon in your area I hope it helps

Dear Katiel,considering your age it seems more indicated the use of fillers. In my practice I tend to favor the use of radiesse, but also hyaluronic acid is a viable option.The duration of a filler is about 8-14 months in my experience; surgery is a more long lasting choice, we are talking about 10 years and longer; usually a trans-conjunctival lower lid fat repositioning would be my technique of choiceHope it helps

Hi, you should check with your treatin physician as it may be indicated the use of hyaluronidase to dissolve them away if they don’t improve over the next month or so

The severity of the ptosis is significant as such can obstruct the visual axis and cause visual impairment. I agree that survey should be done early on; in cases like this when amblyopia is at stake, (risk of visual impairment from the eyelid occluding the pupil) I recommend frontalis suspension using a proline suture.

It is indeed a good idea to have a reop after the primary procedure got you 2mm of improvement. The risks are very low and chances are that you get that extra mm that you need to achieve symmetry provided that the surgeon is the same or an expert in congenital ptosis
