We have found fat transfer to midface and around the eyes to have good take rates of 50 to 80%. Unfortunately, fat grafting the the lips and around the mouth areas tend to have lower take rate (50% or less in our experience). Hello,Thank you for your excellent question.You certainly can have a facelift done under local anesthesia +/- intravenous sedation that does not require general anesthesia. Over the last 20 years, I have grown to prefer local anesthesia + IV sedation for performing facelift/neck lift procedures. That may be a good option for you. Hello,Usually at two weeks, there's not very much discomfort after rhinoplasty. Hard to tell without a photograph of the area from the inside as well as from the outside. The best thing to do is to contact your surgeon to let them know about this so they can get you in and have the area looked at.I would want to look at that area if this was a complaint in one of our rhinoplasty patients.Best regards and happy holiday season.

We usually recommend waiting at least 6 weeks so have good wound healing strength . Also pierce the area just in front of or behind where the repair suture line is . Good luck.
