I see nothing alarming in the two photos you include.  Have there been any changes in the appearance of your hairline?  Have you noticed it thinning, or has it always been like this?If this is the way it has been all along, there are no treatments short of a hair transplant that will get hair to grow there.  If the hair is actually thinning, you’d be better served with an in-person evaluation to get a diagnosis.

Once removed for transplant elsewhere, hair follicles do not grow back; they’re gone for good.  The trick is not to remove too much so the remaining hair can mask what’s missing.  
I used Polysporin on my reception area 10 days after HT and my doctor said it kills half of all graft

Polysporin can be toxic to follicles.  However, after a week the grafts should have healed and there should be no issues.  In general, though, it’s prudent to inform your surgeon before you do something in the perioperative period rather than after.
How many more grafts can be extracted for my revision hair transplant?

Your donor area will need to be evaluated in person.  If 4500 grafts were indeed removed (as opposed to 4500 hairs) you may not have much donor hair left.

Coloring your hair should not have any adverse effects on your recovery from alopecia areata.  It’s never a bad idea, however, to check with the physician who has been treating you as he/she will know the specific details about your condition

You don’t include preop photos for comparison.  At this point you should go see your surgeon to review photos and and discuss results and concerns.  It can take more than one procedure to get you to your desired density.

You’d probably be better served trying to maintain your hair as best you can and preventing further loss whether or not you plan to have transplants done, so I wouldn’t suggest stopping minoxidil or finasteride, especially if you are doing well with them.  SMP can be done before or after a transplant.  My prejudice is to graft first, wait until you have your final results from the transplant (8-12 months), then decide if you want more grafts or pigmentation.
