What Can Be Done for Crepey, Saggy Skin Under the Eyes?
Improving skin under the eyes
Dec 1, 2019
Hi,Thank you for your question. The most common signs of ageing skin around the eyes are fine lines, dark circles and puffiness. While the judicious use off dermal filler can temporarily improve fine lines and dark circles, the risk of increasing puffiness under the eyes is a limiting factor. So dermal fillers would not be my first choice. To improve the skin texture, I would advise the use of a good quality eye cream that can help with dryness, creepiness and loss of skin elasticity in that…
What non-invasive treatments are best to improve the skin of a 27 year old smoker?
Improving the skin in a young smoker.
Dec 1, 2019
Hi,Thank you for the question. In my practice, I usually start by prescribing medical-grade skincare like ZO Skin Health to provide adequate daily skincare, optimise skin health and protect skin from environmental factors. Smoking cessation would be very high on my list for you, even if it takes some time for you to stop smoking.Once your skin is in a better condition, several non-invasive treatments can be considered to improve the health of your skin further. I like to use a laser in…
How Do I Use Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin C Serum? Which Goes on First?
How to use Vitamin C serum and Hyluronic Acid ?
Dec 1, 2019
Hi,Thank you for the question on the use of Vitamin C as part of your skincare protocol. If you are using C-Bright Vitamin C serum form ZO Skin Health, this should always be the first product that you apply on the skin after cleansing. You can then follow up with your other prescribed ZO treatment products.

How to get rid of redness, pigmentation, and dry dull skin?
What to do about red, pigmented, dry, dull skin ?
Oct 14, 2019
Hi,
Thank you for the photos and a great question. Red and dry skin is usually sensitised skin where something is affecting skin barrier function. You could start by eliminating the use of skin product like makeup, foundation and any moisturising products that may be too heavy and occlusive. Stick to using the gentle cleanser twice a day and exfoliating skin product twice a week. You can add hydrating serum or cream for skin comfort and suitable sunscreen during the day.Remember,…

First time Botox, how long it lasts.
Mar 7, 2019
Hi,
When you are treated with Botox, the full effects are usually seen at the two weeks follow up.
You would then come back 2-3 months from the time Botox has reached full effect, or when you can see the results of Botox wearing off, which is most commonly around 2-4 months after your first treatment.

How do I know if I’m rubbing my forehead too hard after Botox? I’m so worried when I wash my face/mo
Washing and moisturising face after Botox.
Mar 7, 2019
Hi,
We usually advise that you avoid touching areas treated with Botox for the first 24 hours, and avoid any pressure or lying down for the six hours after treatment.
What you can and should do is move muscles treated with Botox in the forehead and crows feet areas a lot ( smile, frown, lift ) in the first 24 hours.
So you are safe to resume using cleansers and moisturiser as you usually do, from the next day after treatment.
While initially, you can have a slightly heavy feeling in the…
Looking for the most natural, long lasting procedure for jowls, lip lines and creepiness under eyes?
Procedures with natural long lasting results for jowls, lip lines and under eyes area.
Mar 7, 2019
Hi,
I love your question, as I like to perform aesthetic rejuvenation procedures that produce natural results. Looking at your photos, I would say that the starting point could be laser treatment. I prefer a combination of NdYag laser that works on improving overall skin condition by correcting skin redness, pigment, texture. Erbium Yag laser is used for skin resurfacing and can improve lip wrinkles as well as prevent further damage and appearance of new lines.
For under eye area there…
