Hi Kornpoper,Sorry to hear of your frustration.  Yes, it's possible that bruising under the eyes may last several weeks, even months.  Everyone heals differently, so it is not helpful to compare yourself to your friend.Follow closely with your surgeon, and use makeup if you are self-conscious about the bruising.  We recommend Dermablend for patients with persistent bruising.Best wishes,Dr. Jay

Hello Annastine,Sorry to hear of your frustrations.  Fat grafting to the lips can be somewhat unpredictable.  If you had liposuction to remove some fat, there may have been a stretch injury to the nerves that supply the lip.  This typically will get better over time, but it may take months for full recovery.Follow closely with your physician.  Best wishes,Dr. Jay

Hi Deidre88,Only in extremely rare cases would a 29 year-old be a candidate for a facelift.  You are not one of those cases.  You have a desirable shape to your jawline and neck, and a facelift would not add anything to your already youthful appearance.  I agree with resurfacing, but consider a series of microneedling with or without radiofrequency technology and/or PRP, so that you can have less downtime and gradual improvement.Best wishes,Dr. Jay
