That particular divot is notoriously difficult to pop out with fat transfer. That being said, it is the only way that I know to improve that shape. Another option is to use kybella as an off-label option. I’ve never tried kybella for something like this butt it might work. Seek out a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon for an in-person consultation.

Hi, cj419!
It will help some. The skin and abdominal wall will be tightened but the relative surface deficits will remain. Stretching the skin will make them more shallow but you will still have more volume on the flower side which won’t change unless you have liposuction or some other fat reducing procedure. Hi, samanthia! Fat transfer would be an excellent choice to add more volume over your implants. In my experience, the degree of absorption is is little higher than buttock augmentation. You need to have a bit more to transfer since you lose some with processing and the variable amount that the body absorbs over time.

Hi, jasongrimo. It is very difficult to answer that question without seeing your preoperative pictures. If just the protruding top is bothering you then additional sutures can be placed higher up to improve the position. If you had cartilage removed from the conchal bowl then you will not be able to correct it. Obtaining rib cartilege for something like this is a looong run for a short slide. I'm sorry but I can not see any external sutures. I do see hyperpigmented scarring. I wouldn't remove anything on your own. You might compromise your result. Your best bet would be to return to your surgeon and ask his/her advice.

It's really no one's fault in particular. The skin behind the ear is relatively thin and over time the tail of the knot can work its way through. This can be more likely over time if permanent vs. absorbable sutures are used. At two months out you should have enough scar tissue to maintain the correction. Hope this helps!

Based on your pictures, there isn't a need to complete the split. The skin from the inside of the hole can be removed and then it can be sewn together. This would be much less obvious than completing the split and then repairing it. Hope this helps.

The ibuprofen taken prior to minor earlobe surgery isn't a big deal. On the other hand, if you were having surgery to repair a gauging defect then that is a completely different story. The difference is in the area of cut surface. You should be fine!

The orientation and positioning of the scar on your cheek plus thick oily skin makes this a very difficult scar to get an excellent result with. That being said, I believe your best option would be excisional scar revision with subcuticular sutures. This could then be followed up with fractional laser or radiofrequency microneedling if additional improvement is needed. Good luck to you!

The absolute worst would be injection of the fat into a blood vessel. This could cause a blockage of blood flow in the vessel or further downstream that could be catastrophic. Fortunately, fat embolization is pretty rare. The second worst would be extensive fat necrosis which happens if the transplanted fat does not develop a blood supply. Scarring does occur following any type of liposuction. It is rarely a safety issue for a secondary case. Power assisted liposuction with good technique is an excellent choice for revisions. Thank you for your question!

Hi! The idea of having rhinoplasty results without surgery is pretty awesome. Unfortunately, it is rarely the case. Minor volume deficient areas can be improved with fillers. Most of these are temporary. Your best option would be to see a board certified plastic surgeon who has experience with surgical and non surgical approaches to creating an aesthetically appealing nose. Good luck to you!
