Hi Dazzling6236,
Its difficult to give recommendations without discussing this further and having an exam. To answer your question, a labiaplasty will not make things tighter. The labiaplasty will only reduce the size of the labia. I would recommend having an in person consultation with a surgeon that is experienced and trained in vaginal reconstruction and cosmetics.

Hi Momofone2016,The reasons listed above are adequate reasons to want a labiaplasty. Unfortunatly, insurance companies dont typically pay for the surgery. If you find someone who will file insurance, make sure you have a very open conversation about your expectations, as the surgeon might not take cosmesis into consideration.

Good Afternoon,It appears that you still have some swelling. However, I do agree that they were conservative in the reduction. If you were happy and felt comforable with your surgeon, contact the office for a revision. If you arent comfortable, make sure you see a surgeon that specializes in Labiaplastys and revisions.

Hi Exquisite847,I am sorry that you’re upset with your results. Have you contacted your surgeon yet? If you still trust them, they should offer a revision at no cost to you. If you dont trust him, and want to see someone else for a revision, make sure you do your research and find someone who is experienced with revisions.

Hi Anonymous_123,Considering that your labiaplasty was just performed, I would give it more time to allow swelling to reduce, before you panick. It’s a bit hard to see exactly how things look because youre tugging on your skin which is altering the results. Give it a few weeks, if you’re still unhappy, call your surgeon.

Hi Luna88,When you swell significantly, it’s normal that it can cause some urinary issues (like you’re explaining).If you aren’t already, you should take Ibuprofen (clear this with your surgeon), also contact the doctor and let him know what your’e experiencing.

Hi Trustworthy5874,You shouldn’t decide what to do with your body based on someone elses recommendations. Its important to understand, the labia varies greatly from person to person. What is “normal” is based on your own personal opinion. If something bothers you with your labia, I would suggest scheduling a consultation with a trained and skilled vaginal surgeon.
