White and brown sun spots on jaw and forehead from sun damage - What are my options?
Mar 22, 2023
You look like you can tan fairly easily (Fitzpatrick type 2 to 3 skin). The white spots are probably where you have had sunburns in the past: these cause you to lose melanin in these areas, hence the white spots. The rest of your face on the photograph shows changes which look like melasma. A combination of a picosecond laser and the aerolase laser administered over time gives the best results. These treatments will not give you pigmentation back in your "white" spots, but the spots will...

Which laser treatment would help minimize the appearance of post-inflammatory erythema?
Mar 22, 2023
Your photograph shows both, vascular changes as well as some pigmentation. As long as you don't mind that the laser treatments will reduce your chest hair (!), we use a combination of different wavelengths to treat the pigment and the vessels/erythema (532 nm; 540 nm; 570 nm) and also the Aerolase laser (650 msec Nd:Yag). This combination gives us excellent results as you can see in the link provided. As long as your surgeon chooses the correct wavelengths to treat these changes, the make of...
Maintenance for Brow Lift w/ Botox - how many times a year should I get it?
Maintenance for Brow Lift w/ Botox - how many times a year should I get it?
Mar 20, 2023
Many surgeons will not completely eliminate the corrugator and procerus muscles when performing endoscopic surgery. This is good as it avoids irregularities on the forehead. Depending upon the shape of the brow that needs to be maintained and the particular muscles that need to be manipulated, once a nice brow shape has been created with an endoscopic brow lift, botox (or dysport or xeromin or myobloc or any other botulinum toxin) can be administered about three times a year, sometimes less....
Excess skin/asymmetry 10+ years after Ptosis Surgery what do you recommend?
Excess skin/asymmetry 10+ years after Ptosis Surgery what do you recommend
Mar 20, 2023
Your ptosis surgery was very well done, and you have a nice long-term result, so this is good!!
You have very mild asymmetry of your brows.
Mainly, you have asymmetric skin creases with that little fold on the right upper eyelid. Botox will achieve little, and thermage will give too subtle a result to satisfy you. We do use the CO2 laser to tighten skin but in your case, the fold is more than the improvement that a CO2 laser would give you. The best option is to reform a crease on the right...
What can I do for saggier skin after neck lift 11 months ago?
What can I do for saggier skin after neck lift 11 months ago?
Mar 18, 2023
Based upon your photographs, your surgeon is right: another "neck lift" will probably not help this area. Here are some facts:
1. Ths area under the chin is the furthest away from your ears where the incisions would be made for a neck lift. The further away the area of change is from the incision, the less of an improvement you can expect. 2. If you pinch your skin below the chin, you will see that it can be pinched easily. The skin has a poor attachment to the underlying structures...
Upper Eyelid Exposure Fix?
Upper Eyelid Exposure Fix?
Mar 17, 2023
I think the first and the last photographs are your eyes and the middle two are how you would like them to look (or similar!).
Even the photographs you have shown as desirable show some degree of ptosis (droop). However, what you seem to like is that there is fullness in the upper eyelids and so the "flatness" of the upper eyelids is not apparent.
In your case, assuming you have not had prior surgery, there are two options: a surgeon can put in fillers judiciously and incrementally to...

My eyelid crease is deformed and my eye shape also looks round vs almond shape - what are my revision options?
Mar 17, 2023
Upper eyelids have a particular curve which makes them attractive. Contrary to popular belief, the maximum height of the upper eyelid curve is not at the center or to the lateral side but over the medial third. The lateral upper eyelid should not be higher than the medial eyelid. Secondly, the fullness above your crease and your crease height are different on the left side: you have some volume loss and a higher crease.
