Is it possible for me to get a 2nd FUE Hair Transplant?
2nd FUE
Nov 5, 2021
Hello,Yes its possible to carry out a 2nd hair transplant subject to the availability of donor hair. Using magnification, which is how most of us work, it’s possible to implant grafts around the existing hair, but if there is not much space around the hairs and your density looks low due to miniaturisation of your pre-existing hair rather than hairless spots, then its best to have non-surgical treatments and give these hairs a chance to respond to medications. Also in young patients (I am…
Starting Finasteride again – is it possible to regain the growth I had while on it previously
finasteride
Nov 5, 2021
Hello thereIf you tolerated Finasteride well and you had good results, then it is highly likely to work again. Its unlikely to restore back all the hair you lost while you quit therapy as some of it might have completely be lost by now. As long as the hair hasn’t completely fallen off, the hair roots are present, there is always a chance they would respond, even if the process of miniaturisation might have advanced. All in all keep a positive mindset which will add to the results.

FUE – Was this actually 2500 grafts?
FUE
Oct 31, 2021
Hi To be honest it doesn’t look like 2500 grafts, but probably best to count it yourself for confirmation. The pictures are very clear, if you enlarge, you should easlt be able to count those grafts

6 months post-op hair transplant – how much more growth am I expected to receive?
FUE results
Oct 31, 2021
HiMost people would see approximately 40-60% growht by this tme, but again evceryone is different. It is still early days. Growth would depend on number of grafts used as well, without knowing how many grafts have been used, it would be diffiuclt for anyone to comment on the growth. I would suggest contacting your surgeon. All the bestDr Sahu
Minoxidil or something else if I have fine hair and a noticeable thin patch in the centre of my hair
hair loss medication
Oct 24, 2021
Hello,
Minoxidil can be applied to your temples, centre of hairline and also to rest of scalp. Foe some people certain medications do nto work and there is no way to predict that beforehand until now when you can invest in a gentic test called trichotest which can tell you which hair loss medications you are most likely to respond to.
Kind regards

Hair transplant top up. Advice?
Hair transplant to up advise
Oct 24, 2021
HelloThe hair line does look like it has gaps, but wihtout assessing your pre hair transplant pictures it is hard to say if gaps are due to poor growth post hair transplant or due to loss of your pre- existing hair in the recipient areas. Most men do end uo needing usually around 2 hair transplants either for coverage or for density. My advise would be that if you are still losing hair, then to invest in hair loss medications to either slow down or halt the hair loss and think of hair…
Still bald 9 month after FUE procedure. Advice?
Hair growth post FUE
Oct 24, 2021
Hi,Sorry to hear about the poor growth. Usually by 9 months most patients would have seen approx 70-80% of growth already. Its difficult to assess without knowing exactly how big was the transplanted area. But that said, the gorwth at 9 months does look poor. There are many factors whch could be responsible, the surgeon factor, the technician factor, the aftercare, patient factors, ? any underlying scalp disorders. Its best to try and contact your surgoen who might be in the best position to…
