The ultimate answer is based on your expectations. I have performed MiniLifts or Quicklifts on patients as old a 82 (this was a unique case based on the patient's skin). It is generally more difficult to get a GREAT result when patients are older than 70, but this is where your in-person consultation can really help to explain the limitations of a Mini Facelift.

Especially since he is just 'starting to do minilifts'. This implies less experience. I would agree with the other posters that the MINILIFT is one of the hardest procedures to do properly since there is a shorter incision and less exposure.

Go to a Facial Plastic Surgeon that has a lot of experience with MiniLifts.

One thing to remember that in the midwest, many general plastic surgeons spend most of their time on body plastic surgery (breast, lipo, tummy). Look for a surgeon (facial plastic surgeon or general plastic surgeon) with extensive facelift (or mini facelift) experience. Ask to speak to some of their patients.

The Weekend Mini Facelift / Quicklift or any other mini lift is performed under local anesthesia. It is therefore quite safe in patients with a cardiac history.
Also, you mentioned that you have had a prior facelift. These Mini Facelift procedures are also an excellent option for a second facelift.
