Based on my experience a tummy tuck is less of a recovery than a c section. I place some long acting local anesthetic in the muscle to help pain control as well. Most people find they need atleast 10 days off before they feel comfortable to get back to activities and consider driving themselves

You need to allow more time for your wounds to heal. As long as you are not smoking and following instructions they should heal. You may need a scar revision once the scars have matured in a year or so

Based on your photos you have some significant swelling and some skin necrosis. All of this contributes to swelling and puffiness after surgery. Make sure to follow up with your surgeon and use some compression garments if allowed. Time will improve much of the swelling
