We’ve certainly operated on men in your very position, but you cannot get a definitive answer on a forum such as this. Find a local, reputable and experienced hair restoration surgeon to learn more about your surgical and non surgical options for your hair loss. You’ll be glad that you started earlier rather than later and have been proactive in making this serious decision. 
Must finasteride be interrupted during hair transplant?

We also recommend that patients stay on their finasteride regimen during the hair transplantation surgery. In other words, we see no reason to stop taking it. Perhaps (s)he was referring to some other medications?

It is really hard to know what is going on here as we were not there for your original procedure nor do we know what was actually done. The fact remains that you are now showing ongoing hair loss in areas outside of your transplant.  Did it look like that after your surgery? How about at year one? It is likely that you were informed that density that can be achieved surgically is not the same as your natural density.  There is always a discrepancy.  The key is to stay on hair saving techniques (like finasteride, Rogaine, PRP, laser therapy, etc) which will enhance your surgical results. Go back to your surgeon and discuss all of your options.  Best of luck to you.

Maybe. You need to give it time to heal/recover.  As you know, there is certainly a risk of being over-harvested with this procedure, but you will have a better idea of where you stand around month 6.  In the meantime, explore different hairstyles to enhance what you have .  Best of luck to you.

Oftentimes, a more youthful appearance is not achieved by lowering the hairline. This can be done by making the current hairline fuller at its current position. Many surgeons use the current hairline to construct the new one. Keep in mind, you want a hairline that will age gracefully. This and many more factors are taken into account when the plan is made. If needed, get a second opinion, even a 3rd one if that makes you feel more confident in your choice. Best of luck to you.

As you can tell, the best course of action is to run this by your plastic surgeon.  You certainly don’t want to put any pressure on your nose after recent surgical enhancement.  A significant portion of the FUE procedure is done in the prone/face down position and the resulting pressure & swelling may negatively affect your healing nose.
