It is unlikely that PRP done properly would damage transplanted grafts through a prior FUE procedure. The needle is small and injected to a subdermal or superficial depth. The PRP may induce a temporary shed or effluvium. Recovery should be within a few months and hair may come back stronger than it was originally. Good luck!

Georgius,Thanks for your great question! Good technique to accomplish this is used almost every day in my practice. This technique is used not only to maximize the naturalness and density of a hair transplant, but also to anchor the hair transplant into the existing fringes to create a seamless transition.

Thanks for the question. Hair transplanted into even prior second degree burns can grow well. Status post hair removal skin should be very receptive to a hair transplant. In performing a hair transplant into a scar from a prior burn injury, a lot of information is derived intra-operatively as to how viable the transplant might be. Thank you for the question. I would recommend an in person visit to your physician. While this may well only be resulting from the start of the growth phase of the procedure other conditions can cause itching and tingling should be excluded. A good physical examination, and dermoscopy can rule out any inflammatory conditions like LPP, etc....

Derek3763,Numbness after PRP treatment is temporary. It should resolve very soon, unless you are having some paresthesia related to the injection of the anesthetic. I would recommend to follow up with your physician.

The MRI should be safe to have. It is a scan using magnetic resonance, without radiation. The main contraindication to MRI is having foreign metal in your body.
