Hi Elizabeth, I have reviewed your photos and agree with the other doctors comments that your baseline asymmetry before surgery accounts for most of what you are seeing right now however, the breasts will change over the first six months after surgery so it is possible you are not at your final result. The best thing is to maintain good communication with your doctor and relax for now and wait till at least six months to evaluate if you need to do anything. Thanks for writing.

Based on your photos, you would benefit from a lower face and neck lift with SMAS tightening which means the muscle layer would be lifted and tightened as well as a fractional Co2 lase treatment. You can do the laser now before summer but its probably best to do it after the facelift. I would do some laser work on the day of your surgery around the mouth and forehead, the rest on a separate day for safety in my hands. I hope this helps.

Kybella or chin liposuction?

Without photos, it is hard to give you any kind of accurate recommendation. Liposuction is the gold standard for fat removal, but some patients either don't or can't tolerate surgery or the downtime that is associated with surgery. For them, Kybella is a great non-surgical option. It is extremely effective for the right patient but will take multiple treatments.

While Kybella is only FDA approved for under the chin, it is often used "off label" to treat the bra fat and is very effective. It will probably take more than one session so keep that in mind. The risks are minimal but you can expect to have some bruising and swelling following your treatment. See a really experienced injector to be assessed in person and discuss.

Is a second treatment with Kybella a good option for lax skin left after first treatment?

Kybella does a terrific job eliminating excess fat, but it does not tighten loose skin. I would encourage you to refrain from getting another Kybella treatment before being assessed in person by a board certified plastic surgeon. You may need a non-surgical skin tightening procedure such as Profound RF or a surgical neck lift.

First of all, are you treating the sleep apnea because this could be contributing to your issue. If not, start there. Next, yes, you could continue with the Kybella but it's expensive and the results, though good, are not as extreme as what you would get from liposuction. So, if you aren't adverse to surgery, you may want to consider that.

In general, Volbella results last about a year. Longer on some patients and longer in certain areas. Filler under the eyes tends to last awhile but 2-4 years seems like a stretch. However, it's such a new filler.... who knows.

Without examining you in person, hard to say if this is bruising, which will resolve with time, or bad filler technique, which will mean that the filler will need to be dissolved. Give yourself another week. If the eyes don't improve then see a really experienced injector to be assessed in person.

Bruising is a normal potential side effect of any injectable. In terms of your results, Volbella is very subtle. More like a permanent lip gloss than a really plump look. For now, give your lips a couple of weeks to heal before judging whether or not you like the results.

Volbella is one of my favorite fillers for the lips particularly for first time lip augmentation patients. It delivers a lovely, natural looking result -- almost like permanent lip gloss. Because the lips are very sensitive, there will be swelling but it typically resolves within 2 weeks. Schedule a consultation with a very experienced injector to be assessed in person and discuss.

Volbella is a new HA filler from Juvéderm that is great for subtly endancing the lips. As with any filler, the results are not permanent but do last, in general, for about a year. Sometimes longer in certain patients.

It looks as if you are experiencing an allergic reaction to the topical numbing cream. It will clear up with time, but until then, speak with your doctor about getting a topical steroid cream to use in addition to your oral steroids. So sorry that you are experiencing this.
